I enjoy coining myself as a "Professional Simplifier". I am skilled at finding connections and paths within "blurry at best" information, championing innovation, and then highlighting the story that gets the right attention. I ask difficult and thorough questions, approaching conversations with curiosity, respect, and candor so I can present ways forward with a solid foundation. With a focus on global diversity and new perspectives, I work to showcase a journey that is relatable and adoptable by... well hopefully anybody!
Oh. And I like to have fun doing it.

Did I mention I'm an illustrator too?

2020-Present
People Experience & Communications Leader
Kelly Services, Org Effectiveness
In this role I was challenged to create material that simplified complex ideas to gain buy-in from our Sr. Leadership and employee base across the company. Primarily working in PowerPoint with graphic and video elements from Adobe, my work introduced the visual storytelling aspect to board presentations, Data Analytics, and program implementations.
2018-2020
Training & Communication Lead
Kelly Services, IT Department
In this role I managed a creative design team through a major software implementation that impacted 3200+ employees (users). Our role was take a complicated transition and make it fun, simple, and something that people looked forward to rather than feared. Our goal was not only in adoption, but also to develop a more efficient way to train the software initially and over time. We succeeded in both quests with the implementation of WalkMe and the use of video and company social influencers. Consequently, we removed the need for classroom training which led to ~$1M savings in training costs.
2012-2018
Sr. Instructional Designer
Kelly Services, Learning and Development
This role exercised my ability to sift through copious amounts of information to find the most important messages in order to create material that others would understand and benefit from. Over the 6 years in this role I was able to master this skill and make it a trademark of my reputation at the company. I was also able to introduce storytelling through video training, pulled from my original passion of animation and filmmaking. Video training led to the reduction in classroom training needed, with an increase in skill mastery from our learner population.
2005-2012
Front Line
Kelly Services, Recruitment
Everybody needs to start somewhere, I started here! I learned the ins and outs of business, not only at Kelly, but also the similarities in needs between Kelly and all the clients that we serviced. This lesson taught me to look for patterns and results, and I carried it through to each role afterward. Consequently I was a pretty good recruiter too! Often chosen to handle high profile and volume accounts ranging from 20-1500 employees.
1999-2005
Concessions, Waitress, and Department Manager
Regal Cinemas, Bernardo's Pizzeria and Toys "R" Us (Respectively)
OK... Technically I started here. While many people tend to leave these roles off of their professional resume, I have to acknowledge the growth that came from each one. Learning how to have fun while you work at Regal Cinemas, How to multi-task at Bernardo's, and how to lead through some pretty tough circumstances at Toy's "R" Us (cough, cough... holiday season). I am grateful for the first jobs and their role in my story.
